Fork Union Baptist Church

Sunday School is the primary Bible study ministry of our church.

It meets at 9:45 AM every Sunday morning.

We have small-group classes organized according to school grade, age, or special interest.  Below is a list of our classes.  You are welcome to visit any of the classes until you find the right one for you!

• Birth to Age 2.  Upstairs in the Main Education Building in the Nursery.  Use the stairs inside the Main Entrance.  Go straight at the top.  This class is taught by Paige Smith.
• Ages 3 to 5.  Upstairs in the Main Education Building.  Use the stairs inside the Main Entrance.  Turn right at the top and the classroom is at the north end of the hall on the left.  This class is taught by Ruby Smith and Charlotte Glass.
• Grades 1-5.  Upstairs in the Main Education Building in the Children’s Room.  Use the stairs inside the Main Entrance.  Turn left at the top.  This class is taught by Sharon Browning.
• Grades 6-8, Middle School Community Youth.  Downstairs in the Main Education Building in the Youth Room.  From the Main Entrance, take the first door on the left, which is the Youth Room.  This class meets in a small room off the main room.  It is taught by Dane and Ann Yonce.
• Grades 6-8, Fork Union Military Academy Youth.  Downstairs in the Main Education Building in the Fellowship Hall.  From the Main Entrance, go to the end of the hallway to the right.  This class is taught by Karen Feathers.
• Grades 9-12, High School Community Youth.  Downstairs in the Main Education Building in the youth Room.  From the Main Entrance, take the first door on the left, which is the Youth Room.  This class is taught by Beth Johnson.
• Grades 9-12, Fork Union Military Academy Youth.  Downstairs in the Annex.  From the entrance, take the stairs to the right.  This class is taught by John and Barbara Jackson.
• Young Adults.  (Co-ed, 20’s and 30’s)  Downstairs in the Sanctuary.  From the North Entrance, take the stairs to the right, in the classroom on the right.  This class is taught by Kristin Fields.
• Encouragers.  (Co-ed, parents of children in 1st grade through college)  Upstairs in the Main Education Building.  Use the stairs inside the Main Entrance.  Turn right at the top, and it’s the first room on the right.  This class is taught by Warren Johnson.
• Young at Heart.  (Co-ed, 50’s and 60’s)  Downstairs in the Sanctuary.  From the North Entrance, take the stairs to the right, in the classroom on the left.  The members take turns teaching this class.
• Malcolm Fuller.  (Co-ed, 50’s and 60’s)  Main floor of the Annex.  From the entrance, it’s the first room on the left.  This class is taught by Paul Beyer.
• George Smith.  (Men, 60+)  Main floor of the Annex.  From the entrance, it’s the third door on the right.  The members take turns teaching this class.
• Virginia White.  (Co-ed, 60+)  Main floor of the Annex.  From the entrance, it’s the first door on the right.  This class is taught by B.J. Arritt.
• Snead/Fidelis.  (Women, 70+)  Main floor of the Annex.  From the entrance, it’s the third door on the left.  This class is taught by Louise Campbell.
